With just a few ingredients, you can make this dish in under 30 minutes, making it ideal for a busy weeknight or a last-minute dinner party.

Ingredients:
1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
2 tbsp olive oil
3 garlic cloves, minced
2 tbsp honey
1 tbsp soy sauce
1 tsp sriracha sauce (or more for extra heat)
1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional, for added spice)
Salt and black pepper to taste
Fresh cilantro, chopped (for garnish)
Lime wedges (for serving)
Instructions:
Start by preparing your shrimp. If they are frozen, make sure they are fully thawed and patted dry with paper towels. This will help ensure that they cook evenly and don’t release too much moisture during cooking.

Next, heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once the oil is hot, add the shrimp to the skillet in a single layer. Cook the shrimp for 2-3 minutes on each side until they turn pink and are cooked through. You’ll know the shrimp are done when they curl up and no longer appear translucent in the center. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set them aside.

In the same skillet, lower the heat to medium. Add the minced garlic and sauté it for about 1 minute, stirring constantly to prevent burning. Once the garlic is fragrant, pour in the honey, soy sauce, sriracha, and red pepper flakes (if using). Stir everything together, allowing the sauce to simmer for about 2-3 minutes, until it thickens slightly and becomes glossy.

Return the shrimp to the skillet and toss them in the sauce until they are well coated. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to allow the shrimp to soak up the flavors and heat through.

Once the shrimp are fully coated in the sauce, season with a little salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat.

Serve the spicy honey garlic shrimp hot, garnished with freshly chopped cilantro and a squeeze of lime juice for a burst of freshness. These shrimp can be served on their own as a main dish, or paired with rice, quinoa, or a fresh salad for a complete meal.
